TRY HARD

What do you do when you face a challenge?

TRY HARD is STEPS Youth Dance Company’s major production for 2012. This 60 minute original dance work will bring together the choreographic talents of STEPS Artistic Director Alice Lee Holland, Adam Wheeler (Melbourne) and Shona Erskine (Perth) alongside 48 young dancers.

Drawing from research gathered in 2011 from young people all over Western Australia, TRY HARD promises to be the most honest production the company has ever created, resulting in a bold and confronting new work about motivation, apathy, influence and independence.


TRY HARD will be STEPS’ first season of performance at the Heath Ledger Theatre at the State Theatre Centre of WA.
