Call for Dancers - Applications now open for STEPS' 2012 Major season TRY HARD

What do you do when you face a challenge?

Drawing from research gathered in 2011 from young people all over Western Australia, TRY HARD promises to be the most honest production the company has ever created, resulting in a bold and confronting new work about motivation, apathy, influence and independence.

STEPS is proud to announce that TRY HARD will be STEPS' first season of performance at the Heath Ledger Theatre in the State Theatre Centre of WA.

Who Can Apply?

STEPS is looking for 40 motivated, passionate and creative dancers between the ages of 11-21 years to collaborate with one another in the creation of this work, alongside professional choreographers Adam Wheeler (Melbourne), Shona Erskine (Perth) and company Artistic Director Alice Lee Holland.

We will hold auditions on 20 and 27 November at the King Street Arts Centre, Level 2, 357-365 Murray Street Perth WA 6000.
